the sh/apes collection mirrors life. each sh/ape begins it’s journey alike, a simple grey cube. it is then influenced by conditions that alter its appearance & how its perceived; similarly to how our life journey influences how we’re seen & who we become. this collection blends procedural generation w/ creative control by harnessing a custom 3D tool designed for an ai model to learn & use, enabling it to create 1,000 unique, looping animated renders. rather than directly producing the artworks, the ai model is guided with hours of training to operate the tool itself, crafting distinctive forms & motion in each piece.
